The Rock of Cashel is quite an imposing complex--even in pictures!<br /><br />Interesting that someone would chose this as the feature of the design for dinnerware. My immediate idea, as I was reading, was to suggest you research the manufacturer and see if there were a story behind them--which you did. Makes me wonder what other castles were included in the series. More than that, why did your grandmother choose that design?
