Benjamin Franklin,
1706 – 1790, was a Founding Father of our country. He was also a leading
author, printer, political
theorist, politician, freemason, postmaster,
scientist, inventor, humorist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat. Long
after Benjamin’s death some branches of my family named their sons after
Benjamin.
Recently I posted
about the George Washingtons in my family tree a friend saw the post on
FaceBook and he made a comment about Benjamin Franklin. Well, Russ, here are a
few Benjamins for you.

Do you have any "famous people" in your tree?
I love your image with this post, Colleen. I wish it were as easy as adding one or two ingredients to pre-mixes. Ha! Your Benjamin Franklins are almost as prevalent as your George Washingtons. I don't think I have a single one of either among my ancestors.
ReplyDeleteNancy, the image is free from ImageChef. You add your own photo & label. They have lots of fun options. I have used many for my posts. In a future post, I will write about the other presidential names in the family. there is a long list.
