Stout – Brumfield

A wedding of interest to friends and acquaintances of the bride in Pike county occurred when Miss Pearl Gardner Brumfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brumfield of near Magnolia, Miss., became the bride of Dr. Thomas E. Stout, both of Pascogoula. The impressive ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. S. Lewis at the Methodist Church of Pascogoula, at 11:30, Tuesday morning, May 12th.

Dr. Stout is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Stout of Pascogoula, a graduate of the High School of the class of 1926, and of the Loyola University College of Dentistry, of New Orleans, class of 1932. Since his graduation he has practiced his profession in Pascogoula and has become identified with the business and social life of the city.

The bride, a beautiful and charming young woman, graduated from Mississippi Woman’s College in Hattiesburg in 1929 with a B. A. Degree. She has lived in Pascogoula the past several years, where she was connected with the store of Brumfield’s Inc., and by her pleasing personality has won hundreds of friends.

Immediately after the ceremony Dr. and Mrs. Stout left on a short trip to New Orleans, Brookhaven and Magnolia, and are now at home at 240 Orange Street.
