Our family has several ancestors who can be proven to be Revolutionary War Soldiers. In reality, there were most likely many more who served but those records are lost to time. The records of these patriots can be found at Fold3 or DAR.

I have several Revolutionary War soldiers too. I managed to prove my lineage to ONE in order to join DAR. I have been trying to prove my connection to the others but I get stuck long about generation 5. That's when online records are not available. With courthouses closed, I can't even travel to search.
