Dick

I am connected to the Dick family through Johan Adam Dick [1709 Germany – 1785 Pennsylvania], my 6^th great grandfather on my father’s side of my family tree. He married Anna Ottilla Knack in 1731 in Germany. They had seven children, three born in Germany, one born at sea and three born in Pennsylvania. Johan and family arrived in America on 11 September 1738 through Philadelphia.

Daughter, Appollonia, married Johann Jonas Wolf [1739 PA – 1787 PA]. He was a lieutenant in the Revolutionary War. They had ten children, all born in Pennsylvania.

Johan Adam Dick’s one son was Christian Dick [1740 – 1800] who married Catherine Naugle.
