Extra! Free Book! Extra!

Vigil, Vicki Blum. Finding Your Family History in Northeast Ohio. Cleveland, OH: Gray & Company Publishers, 2003.

This is a great book that I use when searching for my Mark branches. I have 2 copies & would like to find a good home for this one. I cannot praise it enough for the information inside.

If you would like this book please send me your name & address.
If I do not hear from anyone I will donate it to my local library.

  1. Yes, please, I think I would like this book. I have family who lived on the border between Trumbull County, Ohio and Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Records stating birth locations go back and forth between both states. And I have an ancestor who died about 1870 who may have died in Ohio or PA. Perhaps this book would help me. (But if you look at it and decide it wouldn't, then maybe someone else would use it more than me.) Thank you for offering it, Colleen.

  2. Hi Colleen, if Nancy doesn't wind up with this book, I'd like to request it -- my hubby's Wood, Slatter, and McClure ancestors were roaming around Ohio from the early 1800s on. But she answered first! Thanks and you're a genealogy angel to offer such extra goodies to your readers ... best,

    Marian
