Obituaries are always sad to read and post. My goal is to bring their names “alive” again so they are not forgotten. This obituary is especially sad because Agnes was just a girl when she died. She missed many years of life’s experiences and, I’m sure, her family missed her.

In Hanover, Dec. 24, 1893, Agnes Matilda, only daughter of Milton C. and Ida E. Ritter, aged 14 years, 5 months and 9 days. Funeral Thursday morning at 9:30 from the residence of the grand – parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ritter, near Rittersville. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial and services at Rittersville.
