1845 Ancil Green SMITH was the son of Jeremiah Smith & Pernecia Smith. Ancil died 18 June 1862, at the age of 17. Ancil was killed in the Civil War.

1837 Martin Penn BRUMFIELD, b in LA, the son of Nathaniel Brumfield & Charlotte Temple Ott. He served as a Private and later as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Louisiana Infantry. He died in 1862.
